Nice turnout considering winds were gusting 15 to 20 mph.   Luckily the wind was straight down the runway even so landings were tricky.   Dawson Hull got his first chance at flying his trainer in these conditions and did a great job.   I only flew my Somethin' Extra once and was glad to get it down on my second attempt.   Tim Blankenship flew his stick all day but he didn't seem to have any problems landing.   All the sticks seemed to handle the wind well.   Chris Lay looked like was having fun trying to get his stick to fly backwards and making vertical landings.   Jimmy Gibson wasn't going to fly but when his brother came out and with all of us on his case he finally flew and found out that he too could do it ;O)   Kevin Turner visited and brought a huge stick powered by a Zenoah G-38.   Tim, Alex and Mike Grippin worked all day setting fence posts.

Thanks to Mike Carlton and Jimmy Gibson for sending me these pictures!
