Pictures from Wednesday 6/19/02 are at the bottom of the page.

Well I've been at the river for the last 2 weeks and I haven't received any pictures except from Porky (while he was at the river camping) so I'll bore yawl with them. Hope to see you at the field!

Boats aren't as hard as planes. You do have the same depth of field problems. It's hard to get close to each other to see witch boat is quicker. One day Terry will creep up on me and then the next I'll creep up on him. We both have the same boat but I've got a 30cc Homelite and he has a 23cc Zenoah
These boats are "deep vee's" they are 57" long and have another 4" of outdrive and rudder. They aren't as fast as the smaller ones but they are designed to handle rough water. Since we seldom have smooth water we decided on the deep vee's
I gave Gail (Terry's girlfriend) the camera and showed her how to use it. She might consider a job as a photographer. I really wish I had a camera with a zoom! Hint! Hint!
I did have one crash and I wish it was on video. I hit a wake, went airborne and did the sweetest looking roll and landed inverted. The canopy was ripped off and sustained some damage and the boat remained inverted until we got the chase boat to the crash site. I can't say enough about WAREHOUSE HOBBIES. Included in the instructions was information on what to do in this situation. They go so far as to tell you why.... "Water doesn't compress like gas and oil...... So, remove the plug....cover with a rag....pull thru several times....install the plug finger tight and start.....run 30 seconds until all the water is expelled......If the radio box is still dry......continue to have fun. These people are the BEST!
This is Terry taking off....... He soaks me and my camera before it's over :O)
On my boat! we're still trying to figure out how to strap the boats down so that we can go out and run them while cruising down the river :O)
Porky sent me these Pictures. He flew several times with success. I didn't get any pictures of my Stick on floats. I finally got off the water but it went straight up then straight down. CRASH!!!!!
Porky in the water at Piney Campground. He flew on floats and I crashed on floats :o(   Porky is my HERO!
