Sunday   12/29/02

Super Size that turnout.   I wish I could give you a count of the number of people that came to the field today.   You would have thought that it was a nice summer day instead of the last Sunday of December 2002.   I think everyone enjoyed the day.   At times I counted five and six planes in the air with others waiting to fly.   There were people there that I haven't seen in a while and didn't even know they were there until I received the pictures from Jimmy Gibson.   Jim Feirick helped Jeff Cowan and myself get flying when we were at the old field and I saw him in one of the pictures.    I would have liked to talk to him but I didn't know he was there.    Danny Wheeler showed up in his 40th Anniversary Corvette, I couldn't believe he drove it down to the flying site.   You won't see many 40th Anniversary Corvettes that are convertibles because there weren't many made.
Nuff Said!

On to the pictures.
