Jimmy Gibson sent me the following pictures and coments. Thanks for everything Jimmy!
Jimbo,
You were here for most of these pictures, but the Giles 202 that Frank
Gerard was flying crashed on takeoff. He flew two or three times but on his last takeoff his engine quit, his plane stalled and
ended up broke in half. I really hated it because it was a brand new
airplane and he was flying pretty good.
The next series of pictures was of (I think) David Huff and his new Avistar
trainer. Man this guy will not be on a buddy box for long, he is a natural.
And of course there is Kurt Werfel and his new boat (somebody needs to tell
him we don't have any water) but he has a nice four stroke on it. Kurt
is making everybody look bad (especially me) with his hovering ability on
his Ultra Stik 60. Please include the picture of Kurt's daughter ( future
flyer).
She is a cute little girl. Unfortunally Dennis Patterson's Cherokee met
with an untimely death (bad servo suspected) and I know this does not help
Scott Hubbell feel any better about his crash (could have been worst) , but
us guys who are trying to become better flyers, know that even the best and
I mean
one of the best flyers can have a bad day every once in a while. It was
beautiful day to fly, who would think we would have this big of a crowd on
the 15th of
December.
See you next week,
Jimmy
Enjoy!
Jimbo
