Everybody missed a pretty good day to fly considering the weekend weather. Kurt Werfel and his friend Terry Compton were at the field when I got there. Terry made his first solo on his trainer today (very good flyer).

We all had our excitement by watching Jeff Layman do things with a CUB that you are not suppose to. He even showed how to land a cub with one landing gear.

Mike Grippin always seem to find birds in the sky and they like to trash his plane. It's a good thing Mike is such a good pilot or he would not have gotten this one on the ground.

Jeff Milam came out and twisted the wings off his Something Extra. I flew a couple of times just to get the water out of my engine after SkyFest.
