Another nice day. A little more wind than Saturday but not as humid. Didn't take many pictures. Sorry!
John Gilana doesn't get out to the field very often but he made it Sunday and brought his pretty Cessna and had Jeff Layman fly it. Anthony and Justin Harden brought a new Sig Somethin Extra with a color scheme inspired by the Blue Angles. It crashed after it's 2nd or third flight. I don't know what happened but it looked like it took a radio hit. I think I was the only other one on that frequency and the first thing I did was to see that my transmitter was still in the case. It was. Anyway it was a pretty plane and I hope that it won't be too hard to repair. Dennis Patterson had a new 30 size Tequila Sunrise. When he came back from it's maiden voyage he said he was shaken like a leaf. You couldn't tell it by watching him fly. It looked great in the air but being so small I don't think I could keep up with it. Denny Duncan brought his re painted Super Cub, all done in a patriotic color scheme. It didn't want to fly but Denny thought it was because he didn't have enough elevator. Maybe next weekend.
C Ya next weekend
