Nice day with light winds.   Humidity made it uncomfortable but it was still a fun day.

Congratulations go to Brad Cottrell for his successful solo.   I think everyone was proud of Brad.   Why?    Because his plane isn't the easiest to fly.

Roger Bivins was there with his new P-51 (beautiful plane) and his Edge 540.   Roger also got to fly Jimmy Gibson's SPAD.   Afterwards it was heard that Roger was going to sell all his BALSA planes and go Spad to the bones. ;o)

"Open mouth,  insert foot!"   We all know how to do this but David Huff gave us all a perfect example...   David Ridenhour landed his Avistar with the normal Avistar bounce.   Well Huff just had to jump in and asked Ridenhour if he would like to see how it should be done since he was the MASTER at landing an Avistar.    Cool ;o)   You can't help but love to see someone open their mouth that wide...    So he takes it up, flys around a little then lands.   Too bad that he couldn't have landed ON our huge runway ;o)   See the picture of Huff picking up the Avistar in the tall grass.    Absolutely clasic example...   Thank you David Huff.   You know we all enjoyed it ;o)

Well the last picture is of Mike Grippin's Ultra Stick 40 covered with scrap pieces of Monocoat.   All of us knew that Mike would finally see the light and put a Stick in his Hanger ;o)   Congratulations Mike!
