Saturday   01/25/03

Jimbo,

Saturday was a great day to fly,  cold but no wind.   There was a pretty good crowd out.   David Huff,  Mike Krammer,  Jeff Milam,  Tim Blankenship,  Pat Finney and his Dad,  Anthony Hardin & son,  Jeff Layman,  & myself.   Pat Finney brought out a new twinstar with two 52 fs engines.   It flew very well and sounded great. He also brought a new Sukhoi that Mr. Finney has built (looks great) .   It had some servo problems so it did not fly.   Pat brought out his rebuilt Plasma,  aka: P-51,  looks and flys great.   All in all a nice day to fly.

Sunday was not fit for anything but football and working on planes,  but let it not be said that nobody flew Sunday.   I went to the field and David Huff was braving the wind with his Avistar.   He finally decided it was too cold and windy.   Maybe better weather next weekend.

Later,

Jimmy Gibson

Jimmy... Thanks for the pictures and comments!    Jimbo
