We had a great day to fly today, it was still cold as crap, but no wind.
Bryan Moyers and his dad came out to fly
on Mike Grippen's Avistar (thanks). Bryan and Jeff Layman flew on the buddy
box and from what I saw Bryan did great.
Brandon Johnson got in a couple of training flight's with Jeff (I did not
see them fly but I heard Brandon did pretty good).
Donnie and Chris Lay came out, Chris had various mechanical problem's with
his Giles and Ultra Stik. Hang in there
Chris that Giles will fly someday. Ricky Gatley came out with his " heli" ,
I really don't want to give him the big head,
even we all know he has one, he is awsome on this helicopter. I look for a
60 size in the future. David Huff came out and showed
us all how you should land a Avistar trainer (no bounce) I want to give a
heads up to Jim Howland (Jimbo) , I think I saw him fly
more and fly better than he has in the last two month's. Maybe everybody
needs to fly in the cold.
Remember everybody is invited come to the club meeting Tuesday January
14th, at 7:00 P.M at Shoney's.
